| Coningsby Lane is a highly valued local amenity used by many equestrians, cyclists, and families walking with children and dogs. It is under constant threat from heavy vehicle traffi c from container trucks squeezing past the cottages to the potential of frequent cattle and carcass lorries if the Freezer and Butchery application is approved. Maybe the worst mistreatment and direct damage arises from the use of the Lane as a diversion route or a short cut. OGAFCA members have been trying for quite a long time to get the Lane considered for “Quiet Lane” status, or at least a more sensible speed limit. | ||||||||
