Royal Wedding anniversary open day
Step into royal history at the Windsor Guildhall for their free public open day to commemorate the 20th wedding anniversary of Their Majesties the King and Queen!
From 10am to 4pm on Wednesday 9 April, you'll be able to step inside the Ascot Room and see how it was laid out for the wedding ceremony of The King and Queen (The then Prince of Wales and Camilla Parker Bowles) in 2005, before viewing nine spectacular floral displays by local florists in the adjoining Council Chamber.
An exhibition on the theme of Royal weddings in Windsor will be on display at the Windsor & Royal Borough Museum accompanied by a range of free craft activities for children available throughout the day.
If you’re thinking about getting married at the Guildhall, it's also a great chance to meet our Guildhall event team and Royal Borough Registrars, who will be available between 12noon and 2pm.
