		April 2020 - Update Report 14 - HGV traffic and 16A bus service
		We still wait with bated breath to see the official signs displayed to enforce the weight restriction on Oakley Green Road. Let us hope that the Coronavirus is not now an excuse not to do this. Unfortunately, our Roads and Transport Group meeting had to be postponed due to the current situation and so our plans for another speed watch are also on hold. 16A Bus – this service is once again under threat. We intend to fight this but we cannot do it without help. We achieved the lorry ban by collecting a body of evidence gathered from the community. Accident reports, damage to listed buildings, fears for safety etc. etc. We need this evidence with respect to the bus service. We are told that nobody uses it. We need to know if you do use this bus, how often and why you need it? Also, if you would like to use it but cannot due to the vagaries of the timetable. It is vital that we have solid evidence in order to fight our corner.
