What is our Role ? |

The Survey data revealed a strong level of interest expressed across a whole host of social and recreational activities and we are especially keen to support the most popular by :
1 - Promoting and facilitating the activities of others : - By encouraging organising volunteers to come forward. - Establishing potential venues where activities can take place. - Communicating about activities in newsletters and on this website. 2 - Organising a number of community events ourselves These would be scheduled across the year, enlisting the support of volunteers and service providers as necessary. We see these as promoting community spirit and an opportunity for more people to make a local contribution. We believe communication is especially critical if we are to make these events successful. |
